Established by the Limestone Coast Choral and Vocal Showcase Group to honour Beth McKay’s lifelong dedication to the vocal arts.

The Beth McKay Memorial Sub Fund was established in 2022 by the Limestone Coast Choral and Vocal Showcase Group to honour the life and legacy of Beth McKay—a passionate advocate for the vocal arts and a founding member of the Showcase committee. Beth was instrumental in creating and sustaining the annual Limestone Coast Choral and Vocal Showcase event, dedicating countless hours to ensure its success.

Following Beth’s passing in 2019, the remaining committee members chose to invest the accumulated Showcase funds into a lasting legacy that would continue to support vocal performance in the region. The sub fund is managed by Stand Like Stone and supports initiatives such as the Judy Rose Memorial Award, which recognises excellence in vocal performance and provides financial assistance to young vocalists.

This fund ensures that Beth’s commitment to the arts lives on, inspiring future generations of singers and strengthening the cultural fabric of the Limestone Coast.
