This subfund was renamed in 2024 to honour the late Brian Page - founding donor and passionate supporter of youth - after being established by Focis on Youth Inc. to empower young people aged 13–19 across the Limestone Coast through education and community engagement.

Brian Page was a founding donor and long-term patron of the Stand Like Stone Foundation. His generosity, vision, and deep belief in the power of education shaped the Foundation from its earliest days. Alongside his wife Sue, Brian helped establish scholarship sub funds for five Limestone Coast schools—Mount Gambier High School, Grant High School, Kingston Community School, Millicent High School, and Keith Area School—all of which held personal and family significance.

Brian often said, “It is important to support the youth as they are the future to our community.” His legacy lives on through this sub fund, which was renamed in 2024 to honour his enduring contribution.

Stand Like Stone is proud to carry Brian’s name forward, ensuring his impact continues for years to come.

The subfund was first established in 2009 by Focis on Youth Inc., a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping young people aged 13–19 transition from school to employment, further education and training. The fund supports both scholarships and community grants, with a dual structure that reflects Focis on Youth’s commitment to practical support and long-term impact.

The Brian Page Focus on Youth Sub Fund reflects Brian’s lifelong commitment to creating opportunity, fostering resilience, and investing in the next generation.

Scholarships are awarded through Stand Like Stone’s Educational Scholarship Fund to students identifying with the Limestone Coast, helping them pursue further study and career development.

Grants from the Open Fund support youth-focused projects that build life skills, confidence and informed decision-making—such as the “Look Good – Feel Good” program delivered by the Mount Gambier Independent Learning Centre.

By investing in both individual potential and community-based initiatives, the fund continues to shape brighter futures for young people across the region.
