Established to provide grants for charitable initiatives that strengthen the wellbeing, resilience and vibrancy of the Beachport community.

The Beachport Community Sub Fund supports charitable projects that benefit the people and places of Beachport and its surrounds. Whether it’s community development, education, health, environment or local services, the fund helps address local needs and create lasting impact.

Grants are made for charitable purposes and may support a wide range of initiatives that enhance life in this unique coastal community. Managed by the Stand Like Stone Foundation, the fund is open to donations from individuals, families, businesses and community groups who want to invest in Beachport’s future.

All contributions are held in perpetuity, with income distributed as grants to support the evolving needs of the region.

Community giving assists 15 community projects across the Limestone Coast

Just before Christmas last year the Stand Like Stone Foundation awarded $74,374 in grants for 15 community projects that will help support the region. Projects were varied and ranged from supporting school students from the Penola area to undertake accredited driving lessons, providing relief for families in need over Christmas.

Stand Like Stone announces its annual educational scholarships. With the region’s students now back to school and university, Stand Like Stone are delighted to announce that 42 scholarships totalling $87,800 have been offered to students right across the Limestone Coast.
