Jason Wallace

Jason joined Stand Like Stone as the CEO in 2025 to increase the impact of the foundation and lead a period of growth and transformation following government reforms set to provide new opportunities to achieve positive outcomes in regional areas. He has extensive experience in the social services sector after 7 years in leadership roles with ac.care, including community engagement, marketing and communications management, and a deep passion for reconciliation, empowering communities and providing opportunities for country people to thrive. His previous work includes serving as editor of The Border Watch newsgroup as part of an extensive career in journalism before joining the not-for-profit sector. Jason was raised on a dairy farm in western Victoria before relocating to Mount Gambier with his family more than 20 years ago. He is also a passionate cave diver and performing musician.
