Bringing together donors, grant and scholarship recipients, community leaders and supporters from across the Limestone Coast, the annual event will reflect on the year's achievements while looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges facing the region.

A key feature of the evening event on Thursday November 19 will be the launch of Stand Like Stone's Strategic Plan 2026–2030, outlining the organisation's vision for growing local philanthropy and strengthening community impact across the region.

Stand Like Stone Chair Georgie McKay said the event at Mount Gambier City Hall would celebrate what can be achieved when communities come together to invest in their future.

"Stand Like Stone has always been about transforming local generosity into lasting community benefit,” she said.

“Our new Strategic Plan 2026–2030 builds on that foundation and outlines how we will continue growing philanthropy, supporting community leadership and creating opportunities for future generations throughout the Limestone Coast."

Foundation Chief Executive Officer Jason Wallace said the evening would place community stories at the centre of the program.

"This year's event will bring to life the impact of community giving through the stories of people and organisations creating positive change across our region,” he said.

“We are delighted to welcome scholarship recipient Ejaz Nijadi and Naracoorte High School representatives as featured speakers, showcasing the difference local philanthropy can make in the lives of individuals and communities."

The program will also include a Welcome to Country by Tim Brennan, reflections on the past year, insights into emerging community leadership through the Board Observership Program and the launch of the 2027 Back to School Appeal.

Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and catering while connecting with others who share a commitment to building a stronger Limestone Coast.

Stand Like Stone acknowledges the support of event partners City of Mount Gambier for providing the venue and Tenison Woods College Hospitality Academy for catering.
