Celebrating Youth Generosity Across the Limestone Coast
Stand Like Stone Foundation’s Philanthropic School Award Program launched in 2023 has become a cherished tradition across the Limestone Coast, recognising young people who embody kindness, courage and a spirit of generosity within their school communities.
Stand Like Stone Foundation’s Philanthropic School Award Program launched in 2023 has become a cherished tradition across the Limestone Coast, recognising young people who embody kindness, courage and a spirit of generosity within their school communities.
Each participating school nominates one student whoseactions reflect the values of philanthropy — whether through leadership,service, advocacy or quiet acts of compassion. The program aims to nurture aculture of giving and community-mindedness among youth, offering a $100 awardand public recognition at each school’s end-of-year presentation.
In 2024, fourteen schools participated in the program, honouring students whose stories inspire and uplift. These young changemakersremind us that philanthropy is not just about giving — it’s about leading with heart.
