Expressions of Interest Open: Non-Executive Directors

As the community sector continues to evolve, we are seeking Directors who can help guide the foundation's strategic direction while ensuring strong governance, stewardship and community impact.

Since inception, Stand Like Stone has granted around $3 million to the community, supported more than 14,000 students through Back to School vouchers and continues to distribute around $200,000 in grants and scholarships each year.

We welcome interest from individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who bring:

• Legal expertise

• Connections to the Robe, Kingston, Beachport, Keith or Willalooka communities

About the Role

Directors of Stand Like Stone Foundation:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight

• Champion philanthropy and community impact across the Limestone Coast

• Contribute to governance, risk management and organisational sustainability

• Participate in Board meetings and committee activities

• Serve as ambassadors for the foundation within their networks and communities

Board appointments are voluntary positions.

‍Time Commitment

• Bi-monthly Board meetings (typically late afternoon)

• Participation in at least one Board committee

• Attendance at selected foundation events and activities
